The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was excellent. Downtown Lafayette is so cute with lots of great shots and restaurants, and is so easily accessible from the hotel, as is Lafayette, Reservoir, and BART. The pool was well heated for a winter stay.

The location was great and everything from cleanliness to staff was fantastic. We only stayed one night (quick wedding trip) and our only disappointment was that we didn’t book an extra night .

Beautiful property with a unique feel. Pool and hottub area was charming although there was some road noise. Our deluxe 2 queen room had lofted ceilings on the 4th floor which was an added bonus. Really pretty lobby - can sit and enjoy fireplace and buy wine/bottled cocktails/snacks at reception desk.

Beautiful property with spacious rooms and a very relaxing pool area. A little outdated but very charming and clean. We had breakfast in our room, the food was good. Staff was very friendly. The property has so much potential, if they updated it a little, it could be luxurious.

From the moment I entered the hotel, it was a lovely experience. Front desk was professional, warm, and friendly. I had requested a quiet room and actually had a quiet room. They offered freshening service mid-stay to take out trash and refill coffee and complimentary water. Check out was easy, too.

The hotel is beautiful. The building itself is old and gorgeous. The pool area makes you feel like you are in another world. The spa treatment I got was amazing

The king suite with a fireplace was very nice - and the hotel sent up a bottle of champagne for our anniversary, very sweet.
